簡介 Short Bio
❝　現任明基材料董事長。
　 擁有瑞士聯邦理工大學材料科學博士學位、美國猶他大學材料科學碩士學位。
　 1997年加入明基友達集團，擔任達方電子 電子陶瓷元件事業部副總經理。
　 2007年晉升執行副總，負責營運、研發及新事業發展。
　 鑒於陳建志先生在材料科學領域之專業素養，及其在產品研發生產與新事業開拓發展上超過廿年的豐富經驗，2013年10月起，擔任明基材料董事長。

　  As Chairman of BenQ Materials, Dr. Chen has over 20 years of experience in materials science, electronic components and new business development.
　  Prior to his appointment as Chairman of BenQ Materials in October 2013, Dr. Chen was the Executive Vice President of Darfon Electronics Corp. During his tenure at Darfon, he was assigned various positions responsible for the components business, global manufacturing, new technologies and new business development. Before joining Darfon Electronics (BenQ Group) in 1997, he served as Research Scientist and Product Development Manager at Philips Germany and Philips Taiwan. Dr. Chen is also known for his scientific contribution in piezoelectric and dielectric ceramics with published papers and patents.
　  Dr. Chen received his PhD in Materials Science from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland and his Master’s degree in Materials Science from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA.　 ❞
