James Dyson Award - Invitation to Entry
The Brief
The brief is very simple - ‘design something that solves a problem’. The award challenges young engineers and scientists around the world, to develop problem solving ideas towards commercialisation. These ideas might be at a concept stage or they might be fully prototyped – either way the can enter into the award.
The Prize
The international winner will be awarded with £30,000 and £5,000 for their university. The international runners up will win £5,000 each. The national winner will win £2,000.
How to participate?
Participant just need to create a profile and submit the project on James Dyson Award website - http://www.jamesdysonaward.org/
It would be great if you share this opportunity with your students by either announcing this contest in class, displaying posters/flyer in the campus, or by sending an email to them. The students are welcome to use their final year project as entries. Please feel free to pass this information to other interested colleagues.
